Terms
Short version: don't break the service, pay for what you use, we'll be straight with you, and either side can walk away anytime.
What this is
Mocca is a chat-driven automation service. You describe recurring work in plain English; we run it on a schedule and report back. These terms cover what we expect from you and what we promise back.
The agreement
By signing up or using Mocca, you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use it.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
- One account per person. Don't share login links.
- You must be 16 or older.
- Sign-up is currently invite-only. Codes are single-use.
What you can use it for
Pretty much any recurring task you'd otherwise do manually — reconciliation, monitoring, reporting, scraping public data, calling APIs you have keys for, generating documents.
What you can't use it for
- Anything illegal where you live or where the target system is hosted.
- Spamming, harassment, mass unsolicited outreach.
- Bypassing rate limits or access controls on third-party systems you don't have permission to use.
- Generating CSAM, malware, deepfakes of real people without consent, or anything that violates basic human dignity.
- Scraping data in violation of the target site's terms of service. You are responsible for knowing what you're allowed to scrape.
Violation = account terminated, no refund. Repeat or egregious = we cooperate with law enforcement.
Pay-as-you-go billing
- $3 in free credit on signup.
- Each agent run costs cents — we show the exact cost in your activity log.
- You top up when you want. No subscription, no auto-charge unless you explicitly enable it.
- When your balance hits zero, new runs pause until you top up. Scheduled tasks keep their schedule but skip fires while you're empty.
- Top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law (e.g. EU/UK consumer rights apply).
What we don't guarantee
Mocca is provided as-is. AI agents make mistakes — they hallucinate, misinterpret prompts, and occasionally do the wrong thing despite plans being approved. We mitigate (approval gates, validators, sandboxed execution, no destructive defaults), but we can't guarantee zero errors. Critical workflows should have human review of the output.
We don't guarantee uptime. We'll try hard, but downtime happens.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Mocca's liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for lost profits, lost data, or third-party damages.
Your data is yours
You own everything you upload and everything Mocca produces for you. We grant ourselves only the license needed to operate the service (store it, send it to LLM providers to think with, display it back to you). See the privacy policy.
Cancellation
- You can delete your workspace any time. Settings → Delete workspace.
- We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk. We'll tell you why unless legally prevented from saying.
- Either way, your remaining credit balance is forfeited if you violated terms; otherwise we'll refund what's left on request.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we'll email you at least 14 days before they take effect. If you don't like the change, delete your workspace before the effective date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be handled in courts of Kuala Lumpur unless we mutually agree otherwise.
